Who is the Manchester Land Trust?
The trust consists
of a board of directors, officers, various committees, and a membership of several hundred members. The trust accepts
donations of undeveloped land as gifts or as conservation easements from individuals or businesses. It is also glad
to receive money or securities for the purchase of areas which
are not likely to otherwise be preserved.
Our History
As a private, non-profit corporation, the Land Trust
is not subject to political change and can attend to a donor's wishes with regard to both the means of transfer and to the
continued conservation of the land in its natural state. The trust may provide all services needed for transfer including
assessment, surveying and legal counsel.
